Mountain Safari Breaks
Our 4x4. Our Driver. Just relax and enjoy the views!
Starting from Blagaj near Mostar, and travelling in our air-conditioned Land Rover Defender 110, we will drive you on a private, scenic tour of the central Bosnian hills, mountains and villages. Every tour is exclusive to the party booking it. Included in the price is:
- Pick-up and drop-off service if you fly in to Sarajevo, Split or Dubrovnik airports.

- All your meals with accompanying alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments.
- Visits to local attractions in the Mostar area.
- Wild camping in our giant tepee on some of the safaris.
We offer three options:
Option 1 - The Great Escape
Get away from it all on our original Mountain Safari! A wonderful six day break with three and a half days of photo safaris in the mountains, and three nights spent wild camping in our tepee having great traditional Bosnian food cooked for you over a fire. £400 per adult, based on 2 adults. £350 per adult for groups of 3 to 5 adults
Children under 13 travel for £150
Children under 6 travel for £75. Child seats can be supplied if required.
Option 2 - Tepee Time Out
Some of our favourite drives and picnic spots packed into a four day break with an unforgettable night spent tepee camping under the stars in the mountains. A superb choice for families. Click on the icon below to view a pop-up itinerary (you must have pop-ups enabled in your browser):
£300 per adult, based on 2 adults. £250 per adult for groups of 3 to 5 adults
Children under 13 travel for £150
Children under 6 travel for £75. Child seats can be supplied if required.
Option 3 - A Breath of Fresh Air
Our three day mini-break. Explore Mostar, visit local attractions, and spend a day in the mountains on a photo safari taking in beautiful views and clean air. £200 per adult based on a minimum of two adults
Children under 13 travel for £100 if accompanied by 2 adults
Children under 6 travel for £50. Child seats can be supplied if required.

Getting to Us
Sarajevo Airport - served by both British Airways and Croatia Airlines from Gatwick and Heathrow. Sarajevo is the closest airport to Mostar with flights arriving and departing around lunchtime. This is a good choice for those who don't like early starts and who wish to see the famous Sarajevo Baščaršija (old town) on the last day of their stay. The transfer time to Mostar is usually under 2 hours.
Split Airport - served by EasyJet from Gatwick and Bristol, Croatian Airlines from Gatwick and Heathrow, and FlyBe from Birmingham. Split is usually your best bet for cheaper flights however there is a longer transfer time to Mostar (3h 30m) so it may not be the best choice for those travelling with children. If you are travelling from London, departure times can also be quite early in the morning, in both directions.
Dubrovnik Airport - served by British Airways from Gatwick, and by Croatia Airlines from both Gatwick and Heathrow. Favourable arrival and departure times (with BA) provide an opportunity to fit in a brief sightseeing visit to the medieval walled city in Dubrovnik on your last day. Transfer time to Mostar is approximately 2h 30m.
If you would like to take a break in our apartment before or after your Safari then we can also handle your transport arrangements to and from Makarska.
